Fab-Con's new HS4 HeatSetter is a tubular heat setting unit.The entry section consists of internally driven overfeed spreaders, this is coupled to a secondary driven spreader which propels and conveys the fabric at a fixed width through a heat treating zone. In this heat treating section, the fabric is uniformly exposed to the heat. The cloth temperature is monitored to regulate the output of the burners and maintain consistent cloth treatment. After heat setting, the fabric is cooled and then rolled or folded.
